TOGETHER WE CAN PROVIDE A SUSTAINABLE SOLUTION TO FOOD INSECURITY

The Charlestown Community Garden, a non-profit organization which provides over 4000 lbs of fresh organic vegetables to local food pantries and soup kitchens, is in need of volunteers on Tuesdays and Thursdays mornings from 9 to noon. Garden volunteers perform basic gardening functions such as planting, weeding and harvesting. No prior gardening experience is required. The garden is located in Ninigret Park next to the Charlestown Senior Center. Contact Steve at info@ccgri.org or call 1-401-377-8069 EXT 7 for more information.
